"Board eligible" and "board qualified" are prohibited in Texas

What the source requires

Texas deems it false, deceptive or misleading advertising to use "board eligible", "board qualified", "or any similar language calculated to convey the same meaning as ‘board certified’".

Why this is hard to satisfy

The phrases read as modest and truthful to the person writing them — a physician mid-certification describing their actual status. The rule names them explicitly anyway, and bio pages are written once and never re-read.

What we do about it

Literal phrase match across every page, bio and profile, with the near-variants enumerated rather than inferred.

What this tier means

Same input, same verdict, every time — no model in the loop. This is the only tier where the word “verified” is literally true.
